Friday, 2 December 2022 Thank you to everyone for staying engaged with us throughout the year. We are working hard to get back on track in this post covid era and we are looking forward see what's to come in 2023. We now have a new VP of Communications, Ali Gohlke-Schermer. She will continue to be onboarding in the new year and we are looking forward to her bringing some fresh perspective to the team. This fall, we have had multiple successful in-person networking dinners. We do have a survey available for you to complete to help see if there are any new opportunities to improve engagement for these events. PMICV-UVM Students Panel Discussion In conjunction with UVM faculty of Engineering professor Kenneth Burkman, PMICV is holding UVM Student Panel Discussion.
Date and Time: Thursday, Dec 8, 6:00 – 7:15 PM Location and Classroom: UVM Innovation Hall E204 Free parking after 6 PM: College St visitor lot and Jeffords visitor lot
This Engineering class semester has 22 Seniors and 8 graduate students, studying Mechanical Engineering (7), Biomedical Engineering (6), Civil Engineering (6), Engineering Management (5), other engineering disciplines, and business administration. The panel discussion will focus on a variety of subjects and Questions from the student body regarding project management practices, real-life experiences feedback from panelists with appropriate guidance for the next steps for students in project management as a profession. PMICV members are welcome to the above location who are interested in attending and sitting in to listen to the discussion.
