PMI-CV Team, It’s official, Fall is here, and our beloved chapter is a quarter of a century young! As I creep up on my own (1st) anniversary as a member of the board, I breath a sign of relief to know that we’ve put so much of the pandemic atmosphere in the rearview. The future looks bright, and we’re thrilled that you’re part of it! A heartfelt thank you to our intrepid board of directors, our members, and our steadfast partners, Desai Management Consulting and the University of Vermont Professional and Continuing Education. For those who don’t know, Vijay Desai has been a champion for PMI-CV for the past 20+ years, he’s a former 2 term president! There’re always doing great things over at Desai Management Consulting. Head on over to their site to catch-up on their comings and goings. Last but certainly not least, please join me in welcoming the newest member of the PMI-CV leadership team, Ali Gohlke-Schermer. Like everyone else on who’s reading this, she’s incredibly smart, talented, and motivated. We haven’t nailed down her specific niche or title yet, but there’s no doubt that she’ll wherever she lands, she’ll absolutely crush. Reminder that there’s ALWAYS room on the team to get involved. Whether it’s resharing social posts, aspiring to seat on the board of directors, or anywhere in between, we’re always looking for more smart, talented, motivated people to join us in championing the cause! Have you experienced any sort of Organizational Transformation of the past year or so? Good news, this is exactly what our topic of conversation is going to be. Tahirou has a plethora of knowledge and experience to impart on us. He is PMI’s global director of the Brightline Initiative. We’ll see you there!
October 17-20 - Product Summit*Business Analyst World If you’re able to make it down to Boston, well Burlington, MA (you can see the Boston skyline from the top levels of the hotel site) for what’ll for sure be a great event, you’ll not just be smarter for it, and pick up some PDU’s, you’ll likely run into some PMI-CV representation at our chapter booth. Be sure to give our VP, Programs, Brian Williams a high-five when you see him. Remember those PDU things?
